ZEBULON - Robert W. Murphy Sr., 70, died Saturday, March 15, 2008. Graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 19) at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy D. Murphy; son, Thomas L. Murphy; and daughter, Cynthia Murphy Hough.

Surviving: sons, Robert W. Murphy Jr. (fiancée, Deborah Anderson) and John J. Murphy (fiancée, Jean Griffin), all of Zebulon; daughter, Katherine Murphy Jordan (Gary) of Zebulon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Massey Funeral Home, Zebulon.
