KITTRELL - Barbara Ann Lee Woodlief, 73, died Monday, March 17, 2008 at Duke Medical Center. Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, March 19, in the Woodlief family cemetery in Kittrell by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Helen Stanton Crippen and was the widow of H. A. Woodlief Jr.

Surviving: sons, H. A. Woodlief III (Sandra) and David B. Woodlief, all of Kittrell; a daughter, Carol W. Currin of Kittrell; sister, Helen Crippen of Virginia; brothers, Seth Crippen, Jerry Crippen and Mike Crippen, all of Virginia; and seven grandchildren.
