WAKE FOREST - Bobby C. Jones Sr., 69, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Rex Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, March 29) at Wake Forest Church of God, with the Rev. Mike Wells and the Rev. H. W. Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

He was born in Johnston County, the son of the late Minnie Pearl Jones and Robert Jones. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Janice Chappel Jones; a daughter, Brenda Lee Jones; four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving: his daughter, Janice Marie Jones Price (Henry) of Butner; sons, Bobby Jones Jr. (Judy) of Louisburg, Ronnie E. Jones of the home, John Paul Jones Sr. (Lynn) of Wake Forest; and eight grandchildren.
