FRANKLINTON - William Louis McGhee Sr., 67, died Wednesday night, May 31, 2006. A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of the late James William McGhee and Estelle Carter McGhee Tingen. Mr. McGhee was an Army veteran.

Surviving: sons, W. L. “Buck” McGhee and Jimmy McGhee, both of Franklinton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin Street, Louisburg, NC 27549 to help pay funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
