SMITHFIELD - Betty Marie McLamb, 63, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at her home. Memorial services were conducted Wednesday, April 2, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with the Revs. Dennis Pollock and Dwayne Batten officiating.

Born in Orange County, she had lived in Smithfield for the past 30 years.

Surviving: her son, Tim Durham of Efland; step-daughter, Pam Tant (Randy) of Franklinton; several sisters; and six grandchildren.
