ZEBULON - Archie Onward Ange, 68, died Sunday night, April 6, 2008 at his home. Funeral service was conducted Tuesday, April 8, at Strickland Funeral Home in Wendell. Entombment was in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

He was a retired engineer with WakeMed and was a former minister and firefighter. Born in Martin County, he was the son of the late Clifford Merrill and Nona Cooper Ange.

Surviving: his wife, Helen Morgan Ange; daughters, Vickie Hedrick (Ricky) of Berkley Spring, W. Va., Stuart Ann Ange of Zebulon; sons, David Ange Sr. of Zebulon, Archie Ange Jr. (Michele) of Owen Crossroad, Ala.; sister, Rachel Day (Cecil) of Middlesex; brother, Cliff Ange (Mary) of Chesapeake, Va.; and seven grandchildren
