YOUNGSVILLE - Annie Ruth Wall Gay, 79, died Wednesday morning, April 23, 2008 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, April 26) at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dannie Hayes and the Rev. Bill Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Laura Minor Wall and John Henry “Furman” Wall, and was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lythford Gay. She was a homemaker.

Surviving: daughters, Ginger G. Caldwell of Youngsville and Amy G. Ray (Michael) of Zebulon; a son, Ronald Gay (Michelle) of Rolesville; sisters, Dot Mitchell of Wake Forest, Betty Jean Preddy of Wilmington; a brother, Joe Wall of Rolesville; and five grandchildren.
