FRANKLINTON - David Lee Grogan, 59, died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Duke Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Unity Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Will Vegara and the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating.

He was born in Durham to the late Walter and Annie Knott Grogan. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Franklinton.

Surviving: his wife, Linda Grogan of Franklinton; daughter, Nicole Simpson of Wilmington; stepson, Tommy Debnam of Franklinton; brother, Frank Grogan of Durham; half brother, Jerry Grogan of Danville, Va.; and five grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family at Unity Baptist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 22.
