FRANKLINTON - Linda Marshall Stroud, 67, died Monday morning, May 19, 2008 at Duke Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 21) at Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church cemetery, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Friends may visit with the family following the service in the church or other times at the residence of Jackie Stoud.

Born in Franklinton, she was the daughter of Nellie Lane Stroud and the late Jack Stroud. She was a member of Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving: her mother, Nellie Lane Stroud of Franklinton; brother, Jackie Stroud (Rose) of Franklinton; one nephew; two great-nephews and three great-nieces; and many cousins.
