APEX - James Corbie Norris, 67, died Monday, June 2, 2008. Funeral service was conducted Thursday, June 5, at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, Benson, with the Rev. Jonathan Pearce, the Rev. Craig Saunders, and the Rev. Ron Byrd. Burial followed at the Fellowship Community Cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Joyce W. Norris; daughters, Maria Speight (Douglas) of Lillington, Pattie Davis (Shaun) of Louisburg; brother, Erbie Norris of Four Oaks; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Randle and Hattie Hudson Norris, and his brother, Thelton Norris.
