LOUISBURG - Cleotha “Cle” Wood, 77, died Friday evening, June 6, 2008, at his home. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 8, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg, with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

A native of Franklin County, he was a son of the late Ernest William and Betty Collins Wood. He was a member of White Level Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.

Surviving: his wife, Kathleen Wilson Wood; sisters, Malva Jones of Louisburg, Velma Wilson of Franklinton, Betty Jean Baker of Wake Forest, Rebecca Dickerson and Lora Patterson, both of Franklinton; brothers, E. D. Wood of Kittrell and Joseph Wood of Franklinton; numerous nieces and nephews.
