FRANKLINTON - Will “Jack” Sneed, 53, died Thursday, July 3, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 8, at First Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. Jeanette Pender officiating. Interment followed in the Rock Spring UCC cemetery, Creedmoor.

He was born the son of the late Oliver and Edna Hockaday Sneed. He was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Annie, Katie and Bessie Sneed.

Surviving: devoted friend, Francine Jones of the home; daughter, Katrina Jones of Richmond, Va.; stepdaughters, Cimika and Tonya Jones; sisters, Oza Freeman (James) and Thelma Wiley (Larry), all of Richmond, Va., Suzie Sneed (Larry) of Franklinton and Dolly Winston (Troy) of Creedmoor; brothers, William, Willie (Doris), and Oliver Jr. Sneed, all of Richmond, Va., Willie Bert Sneed of Butner, Otha Sneed (Shirley) of Miami, Fla., and Herman Sneed of Mecklenburg, Va.; and three step-grandchildren.
