NASHVILLE - Elsie Mae Benson, 95, died Sunday, July 20, 2008. A funeral service was conducted Thursday, July 24, at Johnson Chapel of Nashville with the Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.

She was born in Castalia, daughter of the late A.A. Drake and Claire Christine Collins. She was a retired teacher of 30 years in Nashville.
