HOWARD M. HOUSE


LOUISBURG - Howard Marshall House, 78, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Aug. 6) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

He was born in Wake County, son of the late Ruth Hare House.

He was a retired truck driver with Mayflower Van Lines and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Surviving: his wife, Virginia F. House; children, Beverly House of Granville, Ohio, Carolyn House (Peter Joseran) of Seattle, Wash., Janet House of Seattle, Wash., Ken House of Baltimore, Md., Donald Shearin of Wake Forest, Deborah Henson (Mark) of Zebulon, Thomas Shearin (Cheryl) of Louisburg, Dwight Shearin (Michelle) of Youngsville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Minelli House, and a granddaughter.

Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
