LOUISBURG - Gwendolyn Laury Tyson, 57, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 in Duke Raleigh Hospital. Services were private.

She was a former employee of the Franklin County Health Department and presently worked at Dorothea Dix Hospital. Surviving: two sons, Patrick Engberg and Peter Engberg (Joanne), all of Lake Royale; and two grandchildren.
