YOUNGSVILLE - Thelma Husketh Pearce, 85, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008 at her home. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 21, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brad Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Crammer Bell Carter Husketh and John Roy Husketh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pearce; eldest daughter, Jackie P. McCloud; and a grandchild.

Surviving: daughters, Linda Carlson (Harold), Jean Silver-Coley, Joan Bomhard (Eric); son, John Robin Pearce; sister, Lorraine Pearce; a half sister, Elaine Ray (Steve); four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
