HIGH POINT - The Rev. Dr. Ronald Elliot Morris, 76, died Sunday, Sept. 21, at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Sept. 26, at Saints’ Delight United Church of Christ, Louisburg. Burial was in the church cemetery.

He was born in Malden, Mass., to the late Robert and Dorothy Morris.

He was a former professor of Shaw University’s School of Divinity in Raleigh, former pastor of Saints’ Delight United Church of Christ, Louisburg, and Antioch United Church of Christ, Suffolk, Va.
