LOUISBURG - James N. Edwards, 79, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at his home. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, June 24) at South Henderson Church of God in Henderson.

Surviving: daughter, Alice F. Edwards of Franklinton; brothers, Wayne Edwards of Louisburg and Junior Edwards of Bunn; sister, Louise Edwards and Beulah Joyner, both of Louisburg, and Mary Jean Ayscue of Kittrell; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
