ZEBULON - O. Brooks Driver, 71, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

A native of Nash County, he was son to the late Mamie Morgan and Willis Onnie Driver. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wilbur and Charles L. Driver, and sister, Marie Williams.

Surviving: his wife, Claudette B. Driver of the home; sons Randall Driver of Lucama, Phillip Morris of Garner, and Michael Brooks Driver of Middlesex; daughters, Elizabeth Jean Hardy of Goldsboro, and Angela Susan Driver of Middlesex; brothers, Sherwood Driver, Bobby Ray Driver; sisters, Erselle Johnson, Barbara Nell Hocutt, and Ruby Driver, all of Zebulon; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
