ZEBULON - Nina Robinson Wright, 83, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008. A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. today (Saturday, Oct. 18) in the Wilkerson Funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Winterville Cemetery.

She was born in Pitt County, the daughter of the late Heber and Gladys Stox Robinson. She retired from Bell Atlantic Telephone in Norfolk, Va., after 37 years of service. She moved to Zebulon in 2004 to be near her son.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, C. H. Helms and Earl W. Wright; and siblings, Winnie Robinson, Bo Robinson and Frances Briley.

Surviving: her son, Chess Helms (Anita) of Zebulon; sisters, Lillian Gurganus of Williamston, Pauline Tetterton of Greenville; brothers, Stanley Robinson and Donald “Pete” Robinson, Kenneth Robinson and Dewey Robinson, all of Greenville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Flowers welcome or donations may be made to a church or charity of one’s choice in memory of Nina Wright.
