HOLLISTER - Funeral services for Allen Rudd, 81, who died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Pine Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Etherlean Rudd of the home; daughters, Shirley Simmons of Littleton and Mattie Richardson of Hollister; sisters, Idell Lynch and Beulah Lynch, both of Hollister; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 22) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
