RALEIGH- Irene T. Baker, 73, died Sunday morning, Oct. 19, 2008. A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Harris family cemetery in Youngsville.

She was born in Guilford County to Nellis and Ethel Farrington Tucker.

Surviving: her husband, James Thomas Baker Jr.; her children, James Thomas Baker III (Darden) of Wake Forest, John Michael Baker (Roxanne) of Moore, S.C., Randall Lamar Baker (Cindy) of Youngsville, Teresa Ann Miller (Rick) of Raleigh, Pamela Lynn Reeves (Scott) of Mauldin, S.C.; siblings, Hazel Stafford, Nancy Dillon, Bonnie Henderson, Louise Mabe, and Ernest Tucker; and 10 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings Glenda Tucker, Mary Farrington and Henry Tucker.
