CARY - Mr. Everette Artice Marshall, 70, died Friday evening, October 17, 2008.

Funeral Service was 3 p.m. Tuesday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Montlawn Memorial Park. The family received friends at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service.

A native of Franklin County, Everette was the son of the late Mallie Artice Marshall and Beatrice Tharrington Marshall. He owned and operated Marshall’s Sales and Service, an LP gas service in Raleigh. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved country music and travelling to yard sales.

Everette is survived by his sons, Donald Weldon Marshall of Angier, Everette Dwayne Marshall of Cary; daughter, Cynthia Ann Marshall of Selma; sister, Sandy Marshall Davis of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Michael Aaron Marshall and Amanda Brooke Marshall; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin Junior Marshall, and his sister, Ruby Colbert.
