FRANKLINTON - Bobby Buffaloe Pearce Sr., 69, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 at his home. Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 10, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Dr. Brad Reynolds officiating.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late John and Mattie Pearce. He worked at Burlington Mills in Franklinton, farmed and was a former member of the Youngsville Fire Department.

Surviving: wife, Inez Pearce; sons, Bobby Buffaloe Pearce Jr. (Tabitha) and Tim Pearce (Belinda) of Wake Forest; stepchildren, Dawn Johnson (Jason) of South Carolina, Richard Campbell (Linda) of Rocky Mount and Mark Campbell (Lisa) of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
