YOUNGSVILLE - Eileen Mitchell, 92, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at Hillside Nursing Center. Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 14, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jason Mitchell, great-grandson, officiating. Burial followed in the Mitchell family cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Novie Denton Driver and Ernest Driver and was preceded in death by her husband, Clem C. Mitchell Sr., and a grandson.

Surviving: sons, Clem C. Mitchell Jr. (Lois), Ted Mitchell (Vickie), all of Youngsville; a sister, Ida Mae Barham of Wake Forest; a brother, Stanley Driver of Youngsville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren.
