FURNEY “JACK” PERRY


YOUNGSVILLE - Furney Presley “Jack” Perry, 64, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 27, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Burial followed in the Popes Chapel Church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Aaron “Son” Perry and Kattie Perry. Mr. Perry was retired from the Town of Wake Forest as a fleet maintenance supervisor.

Surviving: his sisters, Lettie Perry of Zebulon, Amelia Allen of Wake Forest, Katie Morgan of Raleigh and Ercelle Brown of Garner; brother, Henry Perry of Wendell; children, Ernest Barham of New Hampshire, Myrtle Mangum of Wake Forest, Joyce Wall of Knightdale and Charles Barham of Youngsville; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Perry, and two sisters, Lucille “Pete” Perry and Nellie “Punkin” Bissette.
