FRANKLINTON - Robert E. “Bird” Griffin Jr. died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, from injuries received in an earlier accident.

Surviving: his wife, Tami Horne of Franklinton; daughter, Delana Griffin; sisters, Marlou Griffin of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Sheila Cunningham of Washington, D.C. and Audrey Robinson of Vermont. Private services to be conducted at a later date.
