RALEIGH - Sarah Lee Peed, 87, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 26) at Carolina Pines Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of New Hanover County, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Evelana Johnson Stewart.

Surviving: sons, Tommy Glenn Peed (Nancy) of Raleigh, Tony Andrew Peed (Vanesa) of Youngsville and George Peed of Raleigh; sisters, Hilda Ann Willetts, Martha Isabelle Saunders and Fannie Mae Pate, all of Wilmington; brother, Hubert E. Stewart of Wilmington.
