LOUISBURG - Dorothy Anderson, 73, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at 12 noon at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors: husband, Julius Anderson; daughters, Carolyn Boone (Edward), of Durham and Cynthia Anderson, of the home; sons, George Anderson (Patti), of Henderson and James Anderson (Alison), of Raleigh; sisters, Christine Bond, of Ahoskie, Earlene Knight, of Alexandria, Va., Aileen Robinson, of Centerville and Marie Walker, of Louisburg; brother, Charlie Van Roberson (Emma), of Raleigh; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A wake service will be from 7 - 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg. Arrangements by Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
