FRANKLINTON - Joseph Allen Jr., 79, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at Franklin Regional Medical Center, Louisburg. Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 6, at South Main Street Baptist Church, Louisburg. Burial followed at Manasseh Church cemetery, Franklinton.

Surviving: sisters, Grace Wilkins, Paralee Daniels, Mozelle Kearney and Edith Allen, all of Franklinton, and Euralee Brooks, of Kittrell; brother, Theodore Allen, of Franklinton.
