FRANKLINTON - Kathleen Chandler Morton, 77, died Thursday morning, Jan. 8, 2009 at Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, in the chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

She was born in Vance County and was a long-time member of Union Veiw Baptist Church in Franklinton.

Surviving: daughter, Kimberly Edwards (Toby) of Youngsville; three brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Elmo Morton, and her parents, Raymond Marshall and Ada Frances Dement.

Friends may visit from 7 to 9 tonight (Saturday, Jan. 10) at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel (formerly Franklin Funeral Service), 504 E. Mason St., Franklinton.
