GREENVILLE - Suzanne Taylor Turcotte died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009. Friends were received by the family at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 19. The family held a private graveside service.

She taught school in Pitt County and later began a career in buying and retailing ladies’ apparel at The College Shop and Brody’s.

Surviving: husband, James G. “Jim” Turcotte; daughter, Lu Anne O’Bannon Tyler (Hamilton) of Millersville, Md.; daughter, Tracye Taylor O’Bannon Wheless (Louis III) of Louisburg; brother, John Richard Taylor Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three grandsons.

She was predeceased by her father, John Richard Taylor, and her mother, Annie Worthington Taylor.
