WAKE FOREST - Annie Louise Hight Holmes, 68, died Tuesday Jan. 20, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be today (Saturday, Jan. 24) at Wake Forest Church of God. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Lonnie Jefferson Hight and Eva Curtis Hocutt Hight. She was married to the late Charles Curtis Holmes.

Surviving: daughter, Michelle Holmes Gay (Ronald) of Rolesville; sons, Mike Holmes (Dianne) of Wake Forest, Marc Holmes of Rolesville, Shawn Holmes (Nicole) of Youngsville and Jason Holmes of Wake Forest; brothers, Bobby F. Hight and Donnie J. Hight (Loretta), all of Wake Forest; sister, Delores Cash Edge of Wake Forest; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildlren.
