KITTRELL - Lenis Moss Hardison, 82, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 in a local nursing home. Graveside services were Sunday, Feb. 1, at Oakridge Baptist Church cemetery, with the Rev. Fred McGhee officiating.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas Moss and Penola Clopton Moss. She was retired from Westinghouse.

Surviving: a son, J. Howard Wynne Sr. of Kittrell; sisters, Rachel M. Garrett of Kittrell, Eunice M. Alford of Raleigh and Jo Anne M. Loy of Burlington; brother, Hector H. Moss of Kittrell; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
