WAKE FOREST - Geitha Robert Watkins, 78, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at New Bethel Baptist Church in Rolesville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County to the late Charlie Sam Watkins and Ethyl Jones Watkins. He was a trustee of New Bethel Baptist Church.

Surviving: wife, Minnie Bell Watkins of the home; children, Gregory I. Watkins and Priscilla W. Holden (James), all of Wake Forest, Franscine Watkins of Raleigh and Erick D. Watkins of Irvington, N.J.; sister, Mary Dunn of Youngsville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Saturday at the church. The body will be on view from 3-7 p.m. Saturday at the church.
