LOUISBURG - Jerry Dean Tharrington, 52, of Louisburg died Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Meadowlands in Hillsborough. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services chapel.

He is survived by his son, Aaron Perdue and wife, Lacy; granddaughter, Harley Perdue, all of Wake Forest; brothers, Charlie Tharrington and wife, Carolyn, Daryl Tharrington and wife, Pearl, all of Louisburg; several nieces and nephews.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that contributions may be made to Hospice at the Meadowlands, 1001 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at all other times at the home of Charlie Tharrington, 13 Schloss Road, Louisburg.
