FRANKLINTON - Joseph Thomas “J.T.” Mitchell Jr., 67, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 at the Hospice Home, Burlington. Funeral services will be today(Wednesday, Feb. 18) at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Granville County, the son of the late Ida Mae Ayscue Mitchell and Joseph Thomas Mitchell.

Surviving: his wife, Faye Peace Mitchell; daughters, Katina “Tina” Mitchell and Kristie Wicker (Brad), both of Franklinton; sisters, Betty Arnold (W.G.) of Franklinton and Jane Zandlo of Garner; brother, Ronald Mitchell of Franklinton; three grandchildren.
