ROPER — Judge Arlie Cardwell, 90, of Roper, NC, formerly of Louisburg, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, at Corinth Baptist Church, 4582 US Highway 401 North, Louisburg. The Rev. Matthew Bowden will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
RALEIGH - Rosile Griffin Tant, 79, of Raleigh, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton.
LOUISBURG - Royle Elliott Fox died Tuesday Dec. 24, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m, Saturday, Dec. 28, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bill Haley officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Rock Baptist Church cemetery.
