LOUISBURG -- Franklin County sheriff's deputies are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery that sent an elderly man to the hospital.
A 71-year-old man reported that he was going to his carport at about 6:30 a.m. when a man approached wearing a mask.
The suspect, believed to be a white man, about 6-feet 5-inches tall, hit the victim in the head with a stick. The man was taken to Nash General Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
