LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James Leamon Nicholson, 102, who died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Louisburg with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Entombment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.
HENDERSON-Velma Gilliam Gray, 88, a resident of 1557 Peace Street, died Friday, October 27, 2017, at her home. Born in Franklin County on March 30, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Otha Lee Gilliam and Julia Brewer Gilliam, and was the widow of Alvin Curtis "A.C." Gray, Jr.
