FRANKLINTON--Luther Beaufort "L.B." Tolbert, 82, of Franklinton died February 20, 2019 at his home. He was born on September 15, 1936 to the late Luther and Lilley Griffith Tolbert. In addition to his parents, L.B. was preceded in death by siblings, Tom Tolbert, Jaine Vaught, Geraldine Turner, Joyce Woolridge, Hassie Tolbert, and Pat Davis.
RALEIGH--Thelma Steed Vickers, 82, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at her home at Magnolia Glen. Visitation will be held at St. James United Methodist Church on Monday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Raleigh Memorial Park. In honor of her love for NC State and years of service there, the family encourages everyone to wear something red!
