Easter service
Lettuce Hall Baptist Church of Spring Hope will celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 20, at 11 a.m. Rev. Dennis Hicks will be delivering the message. Holy Communion will be observed.
In addition, they will have a service 11 a.m., Sunday April 27. Rev. Shirley Hicks will deliver the message.

Easter Sunrise service
Hickory Grove Baptist Church will observe Sunrise service on Easter Sunday morning beginning at 6 a.m. Rev. Victor Fenner, pastor of the Castalia Baptist Church will be the guest speaker. Breakfast will be served immediately following the service. All are welcome.

Women Walking in Wellness conference
A Women Walking in Wellness Conference will be held at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 81 Egypt Church Rd., Louisburg, Saturday, April 19, beginning at 8 a.m., with breakfast being served. Rev. Thelma McLean will be the keynote speaker, along with other workshop speakers. Vendors will be on site. Pastor John Hopkins and the church family invite all women and men to attend.

100th Anniversary
South Main St. Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating their 100 years anniversary on April 26-27, 2025. Family and Friends Day will be held on Saturday in the field next to the church from 11-3 p.m. On Sunday, Rev. Russell Miles from New Hope Freedom and Deliverance Cathedral will be the guest speaker at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend.

Quartet Celebration
The second annual "Quartet Celebration" will be held 4 p.m., Sunday, April 27 at First United Church of Christ, 20 West Green St., Franklinton, sponsored by The Singing Deacons. The event will feature several groups, including The Lemay Ensemble of Bunn, New Rock Spring Male Chorus of Creedmoor, and The Souls of Calvary of Franklinton. Pastoral Anniversary
Perry's Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate their Pastor Randolph Alston's 21st Pastoral Anniversary on the 4th Sunday in April (April 27), at 11 a.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Thomas Richardson. Dinner will be served after worship.

Gospel Fest
Shocco Chapel Baptist Church will have its second Gospel Fest, with proceeds going to the Ella Andrews building fund. The event will be Saturday, May 3. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., the program begins at 3 p.m.
Several performances are scheduled, including the Northernaires from Brooklyn, NY, The Hearts of Men from Rocky Mount and The Safe Way Travelers of Warrenton.
