Louisburg, NC -- Eddie Perill Hodges Jr., 71, of Louisburg, died Wednesday evening, April 2, 2025, at Wake Med.

Eddie was born September 15, 1953 in Essex County, Virginia. He was a son of the late Eddie P. and Mary Ann B. Hodges Sr.. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Emily B. Hodges.

A visitation/memorial music service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at 125 Reynolds Road, Louisburg.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Kimberly B. Hodges; children, Danielle Tallent (Heath); Paul Hodges (Jamie); Jason Hodges (Anna); Kimberly Williams (Amanda); two bonus sons, Anthony R. Hux (Amberly) and Rodney K. Mitchell (Heather); siblings, Jeff Hodges (Cathy); Shelia (Bruce); eight grandchildren; 10 bonus grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
