RALEIGH - Joseph Perry, Sr., 86, died Thursday, December 24, 2009. Funeral services will be today (Wednesday, Dec. 30) at 1 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lewis family cemetery.
Surviving: Velma Lewis Perry of the home; sons, Joseph Perry, Jr. of Springfield, Mass., Leon Perry of Raleigh, Ronald A. Perry of Willow Springs, and Gary W. Perry of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Flossie Williams of Washington, D.C.; brother, James Perry of Cambridge, Mass; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
