ZEBULON - Belma Parker Murray, 91, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011. Funeral service was Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Strickland Funeral Home in Wendell. Burial followed in the Murray cemetery.
She was a graduate of Middlesex High School and worked at Devil Dog.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duvern A. Murray; son, Steve Murray; brother, Adrian Parker; and sister, Beulah Chamblee.
Surviving: sons, Bobby Ray Murray (Alicia) of Zebulon, Michael Murray of Zebulon and David Murray of Wendell; daughter, Michele E. Fowler, also of Wendell; brother, A. G. Parker (Frances) of Advance; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers or memorials to a charity of choice are welcomed.
