FRANKLINTON —Diana Perry, 66, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Hospice of Wake County, Raleigh. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 30, at Franklinton First United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Douglas Wooten Sr. officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
She was born to the late Cleo and Sallie Perry-Perry of Franklinton. She attended Franklin County Public Schools and worked for many years at Americal Corporation of Franklinton. She was preceded in death by a brother, McDonald Moore.
Surviving: children, William Perry of the home and Sharon Perry (Mark) of Franklinton; sisters, Loretta Egerton (Robert), Susie Burton (Allen), Vivian Glover, and Sandra Bumpers (Connie), all of Franklinton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and relatives.
