FRANCIS CLIFTON "F.C." WINSTON, JR.

Francis Clifton "F.C." Winston, Jr., 77, of Wake Forest, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Franklin County to the late Francis Clifton Winston, Sr. and Catherine Wade Winston.

After graduating from the Fork Union Military Academy he attended North Carolina State University where he received his associate's degree and remained a loyal fan of their sports programs. Mr. Winston owned/operated Winston Feed for 40 years in Youngsville. While operating the business he met a lot of people he called friends and often tried solving the world's problems. He will be greatly missed by his wife and daughter and the numerous lives he has touched over the years.

Friends visited with the family from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at Wake Forest United Methodist Church, 905 South Main Street, Wake Forest followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial followed in the Youngsville Cemetery.

Mr. Winston is survived by his wife of 52 years, Camille Evans Winston; daughter, Cynthia Camille Winston of Wake Forest; sister, Frances Winston Kinlaw of St. Augustine, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and the many people he called friend.
