LOUISBURG, NC -- Alex Davis "Peely" Edwards, 74, of Louisburg, died early Tuesday morning, February 1, 2022 at his home.
Peely was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur P. and Rachel G. Edwards.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 3 at Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Peely is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Susan Edwards of Youngsville; many nieces and nephews, and a long-time friend, Kitty Elliot.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centerville Baptist Church, 2370 Leonard Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
