Franklinton, NC--Ann Jeanette Young Edwards, 82, of Franklinton died Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born on September 16, 1939 to the late Johnny and Annie Bridges Young. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by her husband, William Kenneth Edwards; and her brothers, Albert, Johnny, Jerry, Butch, and Terry.

Jeanette is survived by her step-daughters, Donna Barbee, Sheila, Rary, and Robin Driver; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many special friends.

Funeral services were 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, with Pastor Spencer Strickland officiating. Ms. Edwards was buried at Fairview Cemetery on Wednesday, June 15.
