LORETTA FAYE LASSITER BUNN

Zebulon, NC -- Loretta "Faye" Lassiter Bunn, 81, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 19, 2022. She was born October 7, 1940 in Franklin County to the late Perry Wilson Lassiter and Etta Emma Wheless Lassiter. Faye spent many years working in the newspaper industry at The Daily Press and then went on to work as an administrative assistant at Eastern State Hospital both in Williamsburg, VA.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Bunn Memorial Gardens, Baptist Church Road, Bunn.

Surviving: husband of 64 years, Danny C. Bunn; daughter, Kimberly Bunn Schools (Brian); granddaughter, Peyton Whitley Schools; sister, Geneva Rose Bradford; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by sister, Betty Joyce Sykes; niece, Loretta Bagley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pilot Baptist Church, 8103 NC Hwy 39 S Zebulon, NC 27597 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758525, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8525.
